Langley Park School for Boys Celebrates Outstanding Success in A-Level and BTEC Results

Today, we are thrilled to announce another year of exceptional achievement as our Year 13 students celebrate their remarkable A-Level and BTEC results. These outstanding outcomes are not only a testament to the dedication, resilience, and brilliance of our students but also a reflection of the supportive and ambitious learning environment we cultivate at Langley Park School for Boys.

With over 300 students receiving their A-Level results, we are incredibly proud to share that nearly 900 individual qualifications were awarded. Our students excelled across the board, with 55% of A-Level grades achieving A*-B. We are especially proud that our A*-A grades have risen dramatically from last year, reaching an outstanding 26%, while an impressive 78% of grades were A*-C. With an overall pass rate of 99%, these results underscore the unwavering commitment of our students and staff to excellence.

But the success doesn’t stop there. Our BTEC students have also achieved outstanding results, with 22% securing the highest Distinction grades, 96% attaining Merit or above, and an exceptional 100% pass rate across all qualifications. These results highlight the breadth of talent at Langley Park School for Boys and the diverse opportunities we provide for our students to excel in their chosen pathways.

WTom Adams and Dominic Tilzey (Oxford and Cambridge)e are thrilled to announce that two of our outstanding students have secured places at Oxbridge. Congratulations to Tom, who will be pursuing Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) at the University of Oxford, and to Dominic, who will be studying Medicine at the University of Cambridge.

We wish them both the best of luck as they embark on these prestigious academic journeys.

Many of our A-Level graduates are heading to prestigious Russell Group universities, while others are embarking on highly sought-after apprenticeships and stepping into promising careers. For our BTEC students, these qualifications have opened doors to a variety of exciting prospects, from further education to immediate entry into the workforce.
