Vision and Values
At Langley Park School for Boys we have as our guiding principle the following statement.
Educating the whole child. Ambitious for every child.
This is at the heart of everything we do as a school and it underpins our curriculum intent, our priorities and our community values.
Educating the whole child has been Langley Park School for Boys’ mission for many years. We are a school with a long and proud tradition of excellent academic outcomes, however we have always placed an equal emphasis on our students’ personal development, their preparation for the wider world of work and in preparing them for their responsibilities as active citizens.
To this end, place equal value on our students’ commitment to enrichment activities and on our outdoor education programme. That is because we believe firmly that the skills that the young people in our school will need to thrive in their future lives such as leadership, compassion, and resilience, are often most effectively taught outside the classroom.
Ambition is a powerful force, and it propels us towards our goals, ignites our passion, and pushes us to surpass our own expectations. At LPSB we believe in the boundless potential of every student and we have high expectations for each and every child, irrespective of their starting point or challenges.
